There are different goals your client may set for him/herself, a successful relationship, better health, more excitement in their career, business success, happiness and balance in their life. Your personal coaching can make all the difference to your client it gives a structure to your clients life and offers them the motivation to achieve some remarkable things.
Your coach should focus in on what is important to you, discover your unique talents, passions and strengths and find the most natural and easiest way to achieve the breakthroughs in your life, developing plans and priorities that are logical for you in striving to move forward and accomplishing your goals. What aspects of your personality contribute to your successes in life and what tends to hold you back and stop you from achieving your goals.
Initially it is important to develop your own sense of well being. This can be done in a number of different ways.
Take stock and ask yourself if you are really doing what you want to do with your life. If the answer is a resounding “No”, then make a list of the ways in which you can change your situation and work your way through the list no matter how long it takes.
Take time out and set aside fifteen minutes of your day to talk to the people that matter in your life. Keep in touch with friends and family.
Take exercise especially if you do a sedentary job make sure that you set aside the time to relax with a good physical walk or jog, a game of tennis a swim or whatever exercise takes your fancy. A healthy body creates a healthy mind and to keep a high level of personal fitness can help you to accomplish other goals.
Take care of yourself eat well, good food is an essential part of any regime so ensure that fruit and vegetables, fish and lean meat play a large part in your diet. Cut back on fat, salt, sugar and non essential carbohydrates. Try and eat a well balanced and varied diet, don’t use quick weight loss dietsthey only work in the short term. Cut out the junk food.
Take time to plan get organised, buy yourself a diary and use it. Plan your weekdays and weekends so that you don’t waste time, make lists of people or places you wish to visit.
Take plenty of sleep it is one of the essential components of a healthy, happy and successful life. It is extremely hard to operate to your full potential if you do not get enough quality sleep.
Many people feel that there must be a better way to live their lives, that there is something missing perhaps or that their life should have more meaning. We still carry on doing the daily routine because it is expected of us, but often the feeling that there should be something more, comes back to bug us and this often becomes the underlying theme to the clients goals or questions.

Core values
Start by looking at your life and the places you have been or the experiences you have had that left you with the great sense of being alive. The moments when you have felt amazing, that no one could beat you, that you have really accomplished something monumental. Maybe you have climbed a mountain, painted a picture, or helped someone to do something.
This will help you to identify your core values in life, like creativity, nature, adventure, helping out. You will usually find that at least one of your core values will be there in the important moments in your life.
Once you have identified your core values and can use them to influence important decisions in your life you should find your sense of fulfilment increasing. Now obviously one core value being fulfilled does not mean that you will feel fulfilled in every other area, it is important to achieve a balance in your life and to try and fulfil all your core values.
Life coaches can help you to discover the real meaning to your life and to achieve fulfilment in your daily work. They can help you to break free of the constraints and move forward into a part of your life where you can fulfil your potential.
